Please address the issue I raised.

Astronomers claim they have identified 400+ planets orbiting other stars, but they have no way to know if these objects have cleared their orbits of debris. So how can they call them planets? Shouldn't they be "objects" such as they now call Pluto?

Besides, I think the plutocrats favor identifying Pluto as a planet, and aren't plutocrats supposed to rule these days?
