<<Thanks Phil for the comment on those "gawdawful refund anticipation loans." That made my day. Most people who come in to get their rapid refunds, don't care what they pay for them, and I'm shocked at the annualized rates on the loans, approaching 300% in some cases. But there is a segment of the taxpaying public that wnat their money quickly at any cost. >>And it's especially upsetting when you think that these people could GET their money throughout the year FOR FREE by simply filing a new W-4 form. But then, I suppose they'd spend most of it on lottery tickets, cigarettes, booze, and sex. And they would simply waste the rest. TMF TaxesRoy
