<<Tony, there is one very good use of credit card advances. I do a lot of travelling overseas, and getting a good exchange rate is difficult. The places in the airports give bad rates, and charge commissions. If you get cash from your credit card at ATM machines (found almost anywhere in the world), you get a good exchange rate and pay no commission. >>George,Absolutely Brilliant! I NEVER thought of this, and will certainly keep this in mind when I travel. Heck, I may even do this in Aruba! But of course, whenever possible, it's still a poor idea to do this at home, and can be very costly. Thanks for the tip!TonyTMF2Aruba
