Ahhhhh, now I under stand, Roy!! And I agree with you.

Not that long ago, American raised the number of miles needed for certain trips. They raised the mileage needed for a roundtrip ticket in the continental US from 20,000 to 25,000 miles. So, yes, cutbacks are definitely a possibility.
...fortunately, the left the mileage for a Caribbean (sp?) alone at 30,000 miles needed...which is good, else it would be difficult for me to be "Off2Aruba" ; )
