I don't see how it can be "sly dealings" when the terms of the promotion are in the middle of every monthly statemnt that goes out in clear, legible print.>>


Sorry for the confusion. I was really referring to games in general that are played on unsuspecting consumers. These include:

the car ads that don't tell the whole story--often leading to bait and switch, or at the very least all the don't clearly state all the costs involved in the sale or lease

the credit card offers that don't speak plainly as to the difference between what's offered through the large print, as opposed to the fine print


I think, overall, I was just venting. ; )
