They are here to "save you".....also I suspect that they firmly beleive that if they could just educate you on the ideas and reasoning behind thier "Strict Father Family" worldview that you will then join them.

Of course I suspect they also subscribe to the view that after they edumacate you and you do not come to the same conclusions that they do hat you are stoopid, fools, and dangerous.

Oh my, no. I have no illusion that such discussion will change someone else's mind. I have had my own view changed many times through discussion however.

And I find exchanging views with my liberal friends to be entertaining as well as helping to refine and clarify my own views and the way I express them.

<<The thing is I can understand thier viewpoints and where they get them from....I just do not agree with them, agree with the logic, or feel the outcome of thier policy/idea/ideology is a type of civilization that 99% of humanity would really want to live within.
