Yikes -- you're conjuring up technical analysis, the astrology of the investment world.

In other words, I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question, because as a Fool, I steer clear of technical analysis.

At the risk of getting flamed, here are some links to articles on technical analysis, which focuses on charts of a stock's price and volume movements (and which is often juxtaposed against "Fundamental" analysis, which studies a company's financial condition and growth).
