Not a lot to report this week. I am still dealing with the stress fracture in my heel, so I'm wearing the ever-stylish grey boot. I actually had someone stop and ask me where I got it last night. Ironically, since I was looking up instructions on how snug the air chambers should be, I was actually able to tell him where to get one online!
So, this week has had a lot of ups and downs. I worked out last Saturday, and did an hour on the recumbent bike on Monday. Then skipped the Centergy class on Tuesday, as my heel just flat out hurt too much to remove the boot.
Wednesday we had our annual banquet at work and I was fortunate that I had a hand in the menu, so I was able to control what we ate. The portions were a good size, and I didn't finish everything on the plate, so that was okay.
Yesterday was my birthday, so my co-workers gave me an edible arrangement of fruit. We shared it in the office and then I took the rest home for the kids to snack on.
After work, DH and I went to a friends open house for his law office. It was literally an open house: he rennovated an old house to create the space. It's seriously lovely.
Afterwards, as we were in downtown, DH took me to Cafe Capri and we had a nice quiet dinner together. I had a garden salad with raspberry vinegrette on the side and then lobster penne as a main course, but only ate about 1/3 of it and had them box rest. I then left the box in the fridge for DD#2 to have for lunch today. Saves me the calories, but the food doesn't go to waste.
Scale reading this morning is holding at 142.8, so I'll take it and hope that next week I'll be in the gym a bit more, so I plan to be nearer to 140 by the end of next week.
