I plan on investing 1000 to start, and another 1000-2000 over the next 6 months.
In order to be somewhat diversified right out of the gates i was thinking of starting with an ETF. Either IJT or IJS.
My intentions are to invest for the long term (5 years), that being said from what I have learned the value index would be the smartest, however with the current market I was wondering if the growth index might make the most sense?

Also I had considered investing 700 one of the EFT's and putting the other 300 into a stock of my choice, leaning towards NVDA or ALTI.

Any input would be appreciated.
