Making sure that we control our expenses in this hard time and still enjoying our retirement.

Good for you! Care to share any examples or wisdom? Have you cut back on or cut out any previous expenses?

We made our retirement adjustments when we got into semi-retirement mode at age 52/53 (total income cut by 3/4 at first), such as buying a house for less than the equity in our previous place, eating less and almost always homemade from scratch (getting less takeout and eating out less often--I'm sure that will have to change back as we age), using less electricity/gas/water/cable services, maintaining smaller wardrobes, but have had to increase clothing purchases for both of us recently due to weight loss (a pretty nice reason!).
