Many quote servers have historical prices available. Yahoo for example has prices for NGUAX going back to 1986 and includes distributions and adjusted prices. Going to 1970 may be difficult but might be available.

Thank you very much, this link is very helpful. However, doesn't the adjusted close column as well as the very sudden drop in price on 1/20/93 indicate a split at some point before 1986?

We are aware that this fund has been a laggard, so that's why we sold it.
