I was just running through the MF retirement calculators when this limit popped up. It reckoned that the sum of my 401k contributions and my employer matching can't exceen $13,275. This is the first I've heard of this limit!

I have been trying to put in the max $10,000. My employer will contribute up to $5,000.

Should I aim only to contribute $13,275 - 5,000 = $8,275? Thus I hit the $13,275 limit while maximizing employer money.

Is there really such a limit? Or am I really getting $15,000/yr in my 401k?

Thanks for any help!
