Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 7,000 people would be alive toda

Maybe if the FBI had spent its time pursuing terrorists instead of interviewing sorority girls about Monica's dating habits we would all be further along. How many man-hours do you think the agents spent on that instead of looking for moles in their own ranks or looking for terrorist cells in this country?

Maybe it was the guys in the CIA, DIA, and NSA who picked "the aspirin factory" as a target, unless you think the President actually saunters down to the map room and says "Let's blow up that building over there." And maybe, just maybe, you might stop snickering up your sleeve when you realize that it's probably the same people picking targets today as were picking them three years ago.

And maybe, with just the teensiest bit of research, you would find out that the counterterrorism budgets for the FBI and CIA were more than doubled between 1994-1999, after being cut during the Bush Sr. administration.

I'm well aware that this post will offend the Clinton haters, but I figure since he's been out of office for a year and they still can't get over it, they're not likely to anytime soon anyway.
