Maybe you need your own board.

Nope, this is the right board. Self-employed is quite often small business and small business people quite often do their own advertising.

Of course you could let the guy from the local newspaper's ad department write your ads 'cause he knows so much about your business and your customers -- right?

Then there's the ad guy from the local radio station. Don't expect him to know your business and customers any better, but hey! at least you won't have to listen to him try to sell you newspaper ads -- right?

TV ads, see above.

Long story short the person who knows your customer base best is (or should be) you. Passing that responsibility on to someone who's paid by commission isn't the best way to assure you're getting your money's worth.

If you can afford to hire an ad agency that would be great, but if you can't afford'em you might want to consider adapting one of the ads I've been posting here to your own business.

As a last resort you might try not clicking on my posts.

Desert (It's not as if my posts were getting in the way of other traffic on this board.) Dave
