There is some scientific evidence supporting the claim that Ashkenazim have higher than average intelligence. See, for example, "Natural History of Ashkenazi Intelligence", Journal of Biosocial Science 38 (5), pp. 659–693 (2006):

But whether or not that leads to better corporate oversight by boards of directors isn't obvious to me.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that there is a correlation, but I haven't seen any evidence supporting that theory.
