McMillan is THE book to read. Another good one is Fundamentals of the Options Market by Williams and Hoffman. One caveat on the last book...there's nothing about options in this book that isn't done better in my view in McMillan. However, the two writers were formerly market makers and they spend a lot of time on looking at options trades from an MM's viewpoint. They also talk about trading techniques for putting on and taking off options as well as why you can put in various spreads as combined orders and they'll never be picked up. Anyway...I found this part of their book very good and helpful.Cheers KBG
