For daughter, that is. She had been on 225mg of Effexor XR a day, and it went up to 300mg a couple weeks ago. Yesterday's visit with the pediatrician resulted in the verdict of try this for a couple more months and check back. The hope is that the dosage can be lowered back down when we get past winter. Daughter has a history of having a harder time around this time of year, so the hope is at least plausible.

Anybody here ever have to have an antidepressant boosted seaonally? Did it work okay to drop it back down after getting past the tough season?
