So the government in all its wisdom, or lack there of, decided to allow the public to looks at it Medicare billing data. In other words, how much your physician "earns" off of medicare.

So for kicks I entered in yours truly and the rest of my partners. Hmmmmm, so the data from 2012 says I only earned $3000. Ditto my other partner. And one partner showed $0. Meanwhile, the other showed $250,000. So I called my billing agent to see if it wasn't some input error on his part. Nope. Plus, he had a big laugh, he said there was no way we earned $250,000 as a group off of medicare. He is investigating the problem more.

So, from one small group, major errors on the government side of things. Plus, since my one partner is way abnormal for anesthesiologists in this area, he will now be a prime target for an audit. Which would be interesting, the dumba$$es investigating the dumba$$es.

That doesn't even begin to explain how or why some people make so much, like the main physician in the linked article. It is just raw data. The only reason is to foment the masses, supply circuses and bread while Rome burns.

Why do we want a one payer system again?
