My reading of the SS site tells me that my spouse, who is 5 yrs younger than me, will not get medicare coverage until she is 65, even though I am covered. Is this correct?

If so, can you give me a ballpark estimate of what I can expect to pay annually for reasonable coverage?

TIA

Tim

Greetings, Tim, and welcome. You asked:

You are correct in that your spouse will not be eligible for Medicare until she reaches age 65. You can estimate the cost of her insurance by going to www.insure.com and pricing some health insurance policies.

Regards..Pixy
