Mental Stops vs real Limit orders placed on the system...this has been discussed in the Den numerous times...it takes a great amount of discipline to adhere to a mental stop and place the trade...(instead of thinking - oh, it'll come back up)...

I think mental stops only truly work if you're watching the stock every single second of trading. If you have to be away from the market for even a few minutes while in a trade, mental stops can kill you IMHO. For DT'ers they're probably better in some ways but for STT'ing there ain't no way I could use mental stops and stay profitable.
