Hello, I just have a basic question on TurboTax-

I've heard that it's possible to use Turbotax like an electronic version of pencil-and-paper, where you see the tax forms on the screen and you fill in your data from hardcopy W-2's, 1099's, etc.

Is this true? I had thought that Turbotax worked like a black-box, pop-up-window type program where you had to link it all up to Quicken, which I don't have.

I may be interested in buying Turbotax, or at least the basic version of it for home use. But if I do, can I also do another family member's taxes on it as well? Or is it a one-use only type of thing?

Sorry for the dumb questions, I've never had time to browse Compusa to see the software-

Thanks in advance - JK
