I'm curious about weight limits. Might be a bike lane before long.

I also wondered about ice and water. Is it going to be slick/slippery? Are they going to need any underground utilities dug? Also an energy storage system is needed as solar generates in the daytime while street lights are needed at night.

As for the cost ($5.1 million) and payback time, the town has a population of 1600. Los Angeles has a population of four million and uses 197,000,000 kWh of electricity every year to power them.

1600/4000000 = 0.0004
0.0004 x 197,000,000 = 78,800 kWh/yr

Anybody know what the cost of electricity is in France?
