We are now up 22.6% overall for the year. This average is for single entries and gives equal weight to the 37 companies. This is the average used throughout the year.

If however we average giving equal weight to the 15 people entered then the average result is 26% for the year. Not too shabby!!

You can see that missash's entry Nutrition 21 with the finish line in sight gave a furious lurch upwards out of spot 29 to reach spot 15 and secured missash third place in the average gain competition.

WayneOwl proved what one good pick can do. His one winner, up 240% gave him an average near 40% even weighed down by 3 price challenged stocks. On the other hand fakena had one that dragged him down to a negative return despite two 50% winners ('Honey I've fallen and I can't get up' comes to mind).

I have averaged the positions of our entries since April 22 when the spring entries made up the full roster. This is over 38 weeks and gives a general idea of performance. These stocks are so volatile that some winners like Tyler, Antrim, Road Dynamics and Canargo can then slide to less impressive spots. Then there are the ones that bomb like Hip Interactive. Unfortunately some of the early laggards remained at the bottom throughout the year. Even with the huge range in returns all the entrants except 3 have achieved positive returns between 12% and 73%. Congratulations to everyone for participating.
