Hi,
Here's the Oil tanker update.

KSP 2.80 44.27 47.29 40.60 39.97 38.85
NAT 4.68 38.99 43.93 35.14 37.24 38.66
ONAV 2.00 22.46 23.65 19.72 18.35 20.96
OSG 1.25 79.25 90.38 69.68 70.75 71.42
RAMS 0.56 9.17 10.25 8.52 9.20 9.37

TK 0.95 57.84 57.88 53.70 57.23 57.26
TNP 3.00 67.87 74.00 66.38 67.18 72.16

VLCCF 2.40 30.15 31.85 24.01 25.08 26.64

- 10+% gainers this month, ANW, ONAV, TOPT, TRMD

- ANW- I still remember taking a swipe at this company for
its 2-cent (at the time) dividend. The company seems to be executing on
all cylinders, and the stock has doubled over the last two months (imitating some of its Dry Bulk cousins)

- ANW made an acquisition recently

Interesting? I wonder if the picks-and-shovels angle explains the 2 month run-up for this one. ANW provides fueling supplies and lubricants to other ships- Oil tankers, Dry Bulk vessels, Container vessels, cruise ships and ferries (that covers the shipping sector). So it has a nice niche sector and doesn't really compete with other Oil tankers companies. It also probably doesn't have the cyclical nature of the Oil tanker industry- wish I had had this insight two months ago!

- FRO- another well-managed tanker company. I was slightly reluctant to change the dividend yield, and even with the change I have not captured the yield quite right. FRO yield is calculated- $1.50/Qtr*4 + $1.75 extraordinary div (paid this week).

- GMR might have one of its vessels involved in an oil spill issue

- KSP - having a 3.5M secondary offering

- OSG- putting new ships to work with Jones Act protections
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/071005/20071005005289.html?.v=1

- TK- increased its dividend 16%, from 23.75c/Q => 27.5/Q. Will adjust TK yield after this becomes effective.

Enjoy,
