Mike...I have an old TSP account that's been sitting there for 8 years. As part of this year's plan to move most if not all of my stray 401ks into a Vanguard acct, I'm looking into rolling the TSP too.Seems from what I read on the TSP site that I can do this, but they keep sprinkling notices of tax consequences all over the place. I understand that if it's a distribution there are tax consequences, but I just want a rollover. Am I missing something? Can't I roll it just like an old dusty 401k? Anyone think that a TSP is better than a Vanguard acct?--------------It looks like you can roll over your TSP Account into a Vanguard, or any other, deferred account as you see fit:http://www.tsp.gov/forms/octax92-32.pdfRegards,Bill
