Cost per watt is < $0.30, not including installation and fuel costs

Alternatively, you can get a pretty big solar system here for around $1.5/watt + racking costs. To equal the output of the generator, you would need to spend somewhere in the range of $75,000 K + install costs, and it doesn't work at night, unless you add batteries.
