I was just reading the 101 reasons to invest in Berkshire Hathaway. In a couple of the reasons it referenced a minimum investment of $1,000 or $2,000. How's this work as share price for A shares is about 70,000 and B shares about 2200. Do they have a direct investment program or can you buy fractional shares through a broker. Probably a dumb question, but could someone please explain how investment in Berkshire works.
