Using the "Add to iPhoto" command from the Save dropdown menu in an email message to move a photo to iPhoto does NOT work.

Mountain Lion: May be unable to save from Mail directly to iPhoto
Products Affected
Mail, OS X Mountain Lion, iPhoto '11

Symptoms
Photos received as attachments in a Mail message may not save directly to iPhoto.

Resolution
Follow these steps to import the photos into iPhoto.

Open iPhoto.
Return to the Mail message with the photo attachment(s).
Drag and drop each photo onto the iPhoto icon on the Dock.
