mmm...for a minute there, I thought I was reading one of quicmove's posts, and then I looked up and saw spirach! C'mon buddy, did you listen to call? I know you're out of the stock because it's made its run, and value seems elusive at the moment until they can catch up and string a few back to back quarters with explosive earnings. But still, you cannot help but be excited with this management team. Protecting the NOLs going forward by limiting ownership options proves to me that they're looking out for the shareholder which I'm pleased with. Of course the turn has been slow, but the direction and forward velocity looks very promising. Operating profit, has changed fairly dramatically YOY. Substantial improvement in margins and reversal of bad trends on barely a million starts? R&R still going strong, diversification through other building products, steal, tiles, grid, eaves, with one stop shopping for commercial developers that few competitors can match? Worldwide diversification through Oman, and continued emerging world growth on the horizon? India? They are just ramping up now, on a multi-year cycle. I wouldn't wanna be short on this one over the next year or so. Okay, so they missed the estimates..so called experts. Doesn't price normally kill this stock when it misses estimates? They ALWAYS miss their estimates...Yawn. Maybe the market remembers that every quarter, discounts it, and is more forward thinking. Nah...I guess I'm giving Mr. Market too much credit. Still, I don't know what not to like about this company...to me, management and their employees are the key assets for this company, along with their moat.
