I retired one year ago and have managed my mutual fund and IRA investments since retirement. I recently met with a representative of Moran Asset Management associated with Wachovia Bank. He presented some impressive statistics regarding the returns of their investments. Their fee is a little less than 1%. The historical returns they presented more than compensates for their fee. I would appreciate any opinions on this. I'm skeptical but I was impressesd by the presentation. Is there something I'm missing?
