I've been using my AMEX for business purposes, and just discovered another error I made which will cost me some money in interest. I bought airline tickets to New Mexico last week, but the trip isn't until next week. I didn't file an expense report, and those tickets are already on my card. I won't get reimbursed on time now, so I will pay interest. I'm going to try to have that expense reimbursed too.

It's scary to see the huge balances that run through that AMEX card - I always sweat something happening to my expense check! However, I am now up to 20,000 Frequent Flyer miles, and only 7,700 were done in the air! It sure is worth it to have a Frequent Flyer card for business expenses, even with the annual fee.
