More on food:
Jiff peanut butter (rather than generic)
'Boost Kid Essentials' - -8.25 oz made by Nestle even comes with its own individually wrapped and attached straw that one punches through the cool-looking aluminum place on the top. This kind of stuff is what my dad calls, "10 cents of product, in 3 bucks worth of packaging."
Then sliced cheese that is individually wrapped. That seems wasteful. When I was a kid, my mom bought a big, rectangular chunk of cheese. We had a cheese cutter and used that to cut of the needed cheese for our snack/sandwich, whatever. . . .
I'm guess we could be saving a lot of money if we didn't buy these kinds of things.
Also, often I find these name-brand expensive little frozen dinners in the freezer. It would take about ten of them to fill me up. Those seem quite cost ineffective also.
Sprite, Dr. Pepper, two pots of coffee a day . . . can't all of those be cut back and say us (alone with the above mentioned items) about 100 bucks a month?
Any thoughts?
Thank you.
The newer, kinder, gentle and more vanilla, DEAN
