Hello all -

My hubby and I just purchased a very nice townhome about a month ago. This board was very helpful.

But now I'm getting all these little cards in the mail about Mortgage Cancellation Insurance, which will pay the mortgage in the event of death or disability.

Now we have life insurance, through my employer, although coverage is not great on my husband (typical). But my insurance would definintely pay off most of our mortgage.

So I ask you, is this a scam, or something we really need?
