I figured this may be a great place to ask this question.

I am considering a job change and taking a position as a Mortgage Originator for the current bank I work for. I currently work in the financial planning/investment side of banking etc.

Are there any tips you guys can provide a newbie for me? I understand the relationship building aspect with not only the clients for referrals is huge but also dealing with centers of influence, agents etc is imperative.

I know a couple of you guys have been doing this for years and have been successful at it so I thought I would pick your brains.

Thanks in advance!
