The Vikings/Packers game was just flat out fun to watch. Both teams played well and watching not only Peterson become number 2 for yards in a season but also seeing Walsh add to his record for most 50+ yard FG's in a season was just fantastic. Ponder played like the QB they thought they had when they drafted him, even though his receivers still didn't play as well as they could have.

I read 2 articles that went on and on about how the Packers gave the game away and it shouldn't have been close. One of those was by a national sports writer. My thought was that the Vikings simply played better. Not by much, but just enough to win the game. They have beaten not only the Packers but also the 49'ers and the Texans. They've won all 4 of their final games and head to Lambeau this Saturday to play the Pack again.

Hopefully Winfield will be back by Saturday and if he is, it should be another epic game. Whether you're a Packer fan or a Vikings fan or just a football fan, last nights game was fun to watch and this Saturday could be even better.

For a team that was 3-13 last year, this is about as impressive a turn around as I've seen. The Colts would be the only team more surprising that I can think of.
