Most people don't realize how big "Wall Street" is. I used to live in Princeton Jct., NJ. Neighbor across the street commuted every day to Wall Street, where he worked for a major bank selling services to company CFOs. Next door neighbor worked for the big Merril Lynch site in the next town north. Every time I went to a party I met someone who worked on Wall Street. Dow Jones was just a few miles north. McGraw-Hill just a few miles East.

I think employment all together on Wall Street is abt 30,000. There are regular news reports on hiring and layoffs. Also of good or bad bonus years. Its a community. There are jobs at all levels.

Your first challenge is to convince someone to hire you. Then you can network to move up to something bigger and better.
