Greetings,

My mother who is retired sold her house last year and moved into an apartment. She has approximately $50,000 and is looking to invest it and live on it as long as possible. She is currently 70 years old. I've found lots of information on investing for retirement, but not anything on how to start investing at retirement. We're looking for something very low risk and something that would involve very little management on my part. Any suggestions or information would be appreciated!

Thank You,
Ken
