Mr. Miyagi writes "Jacada runs mainly (willing to be corrected here) on IBM mainframes such as AS/400's hence IBMs interest in the whole deal"
This above comment made me wonder if JCDA's recent decline has has any relation to the recent decline and bad press on IBM.
From Briefing.com 2 today. "08:36 ET IBM (IBM) 106 15/256: Wall Street Journal's Online Edition is running a story raising questions about IBM's treatment of one-time gains; the story notes that with revenues growing at 12% over the nine month period up to Sep. 30, they show an increase in operating income of 53% and a decrease in operating expenses of over $1 bln"
Does anyone know how much JCDA's success is tied to IBM's. Or whether the program also runs on other mainframes.
I'm still trying to figure this company out which is probably a little too late considering that I got in not too long ago at around 30. I hope this isn't the start of a "school of hard knocks" lesson in life/investing. I've been doing so well lately I think I got a little cocky believing I could do some gambling without much DD. The dealer at the JCDA table hasn't been very kind yet.
