So, bought this our house in 2004. Cost $175,000 and we financed $81,000 of it at 5.5% fixed for 30 years.
In November of 2011, we closed on a refi for 15 years at 3.875% fixed.
Just initiated another 15 year refi at 2.5% fixed that is scheduled to close June 10. Guess the recession was good for something.
