Much of the road system in the US was actually privately built and continues to be. Historically much of what government now does was started by individuals or corporations. The regulations came about after the fact.

Both deluded and irrelevant. First, private money didn't even pay for most of the roads and infrastructure, certainly no where near all. Second, you didn't pay for any of them, not even the tiny fraction of those roads built by government.

You guys don't get it. Unless you can say that you personally paid for ALL of the roads, bridges, tunnels, etc. . . then you lose the argument. No. You didn't build that. In fact, your admission that someone else private money built some of them and some tax payer dollars paid for the rest is an admission that the argument, "I built this", is a lie.
