Congratulations Jim!!!

I have not come across a finer example of deep value investing - fundamentals plus basic business landscape - over such a large diversified portfolio of stocks. Most deep value portfolios are concentrated to enable wild swings to the fences and with so many stocks purchased at regular intervals over the last 3 years, the "quality" of performance is sound. Beating the market by <1% in 3 years may not seem that great but when we consider how last 3 years have been a +66% bull market with growth stocks obliterating everything, this is an impressive feat. My guess is that over a complete market cycle, MUE will soundly beat SPY.

Jim's acumen in comprehensively analyzing diverse businesses and their landscape is extraordinary and I have no hesitation in considering his level at par with any investing greats out there - past and present.

I have always expressed that this MUE experiment is worth some journal publication. I hope it happens someday.
