Instead of taking ownership of the stock due to being short with the May $35 Puts, why wouldn't it be OK to buy back the May Put(s) and sell August Put(s) for about a net credit of approx. $1?? That would give us more time for the stock to rebound, make some income during the wait and lower the break-even cost of the position......
