My 3.5 year old sibling cats, Merry and Pippen, were bottle-fed as kittens at their foster mom's. They have never gotten over that and Merry tries to suck my fingertips even now.

But Pippen is worse. He curls up next to me and kneads whatever part of me is near (with claws, ouch, although I try to put blankets and towels between us) while sucking on his back foot. Like a kid with his thumb.

The absolute cacophony of sounds is amazing: purring in and out, suckling noises, and occasional half-meows murmured into my side. If the claws don't wake me up, the noise does. But I love him so I try not to move.
