My April issue of Astronomy lists photo opportunities earlier. I don't doubt the lining up and time by the British report. For North America:April 15th....one hour after sunset...Venus, Moon, Mars, Pleiades, Saturn all in a close row with Jupiter about 40 degrees higher, and Orion to the left. April 30th....one hour after sunset...Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn all bunched together with Orion directly to the left...right above the horizon... Jupiter will be about 40 degrees higher than all of them.May 6th... 30 minutes after sunset....Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Mars all bunched together with Orion to the left...Jupiter about 50 degrees higher...May 13th... 30 minutes after sunset....Moon, Mercury, Saturn, Mars, Venus all lined up just above the horizon...Orion to the left and partially over the horizon... Jupiter about 50 degrees above all of them...Common sense tells me we can get close to the same on other nights and times around those listed...Ron
