My cousin is the VP of the company and is suggesting I put it into VADBX/Value-Added Market EQ B.

This is always a difficult situation because, just because someone is "family", it doesn't mean they have your best interest at heart. Even if they are trying to give you the best advice, they are probably also at least partially influenced by their conflict of interest. Even if they aren't, people will usually recommend what they are familiar with.

Does the money have to remain at MSDW, or can it be moved? Is it in some form of "tax favored" account? (This could limit one's options.) I don't even know what MSDW is.
