Hello, all fellow Fools!I paid off my 401(k) loan ('twas a two-year loan and I managed to pay it off in less than a year) and I'm going to pay off my credit card debt before September 1999 (when the teaser rate, 4.9%, goes up).I was looking at about $10,000 total debt (excluding student loans) back in late 1997, and now it's down to $3,500. During this time, I even switched to a lower-paying job (it's okay, though; I really, really like this lower-paying job). (So, if I can do it, YOU can too!)Thank you all for your great, inspiring stories. We'll dance again in September. The Iron Maiden
