What do you on those Sunday afternoons when the boyfriend is watching football? Sit silently by without understanding or caring about the game? This year I decided on a better course of action. I gathered up every bit of leftover scrap material I had from previous projects and made a bedspread out of them. I cut three inch diameter circles out of them, then stitched the edges in to the center. I did this with 2,430 of them over the span of the football season. I then assembled them into 6X6 grids, and finally sewed them together to form the bedspread. My camera couldn't take in the entire item, but here's a part of it:http://usera.imagecave.com/jetcookie/home/bedspread.jpgA close up of the individual rosettes:http://usera.imagecave.com/jetcookie/home/bedspread2.jpgIt was a lot of work, but it beats yawning through nineteen Sundays of football.Jessi
