Forgive me for bragging, but this was a lot of work, and now that I'm done with it, I can't help myself.

What do you on those Sunday afternoons when the boyfriend is watching football? Sit silently by without understanding or caring about the game? This year I decided on a better course of action.

I gathered up every bit of leftover scrap material I had from previous projects and made a bedspread out of them. I cut three inch diameter circles out of them, then stitched the edges in to the center. I did this with 2,430 of them over the span of the football season, a little each Sunday. I then assembled them into 6X6 grids, and finally sewed them together to form the bedspread.

My camera couldn't take in the entire item, but here's a part of it:

It was a lot of work, but it beats yawning through nineteen Sundays of football.
