My old missing fiskars were only for fabric. I once took my sewing machine and my scissors home for a vacation and caught my younger sister about to clip coupons from the newspaper with them. I threw a hissy fit. I think she thought I was bonkers.

DH knows better as well. But for the life of me I can't figure out where they or my pinking shears vanished to! It's as though my brain lost a year or something.

I'll let you know what I order.

You know they'll turn up about 10 minutes after the new ones arrive, don't you? That's what usually happens to me. It's as if they've gone off sulking and then suddenly they're back in the place where you knew you'd left them.

- Pam (Hope the new shears work out well)
