My opinion? DON'T

I am the custodian on an UGMA on that very same fund. I thought it was doing nicely until I became a Fool. Yes it has done ok, but it could have been better. I think it is on http://cbs.marketwatch.com that I found a nice charting tool which allows you to compare a stock or fund against one of several indexes. (Does the Fool have one of these??) You will be surprised.

And besides, in my opinion, at his age I would go with an income fund instead of a growth fund - less risk.
